Purple Noon (1960)

In this filmed version of Patricia Highsmith's novel, The Talented Mr Ripley, with no money off his own, amoral Thomas Ripley (played by a too-beautiful Alain Delon) feels he feels he should live the luxurious life which he's entitled to. To make it come true, he's been ingrating himself around wealthy friends, and thinks he should live their life - even if it means killing someone to get it.
