Storyline

In a small village during the first years of the right-wing military dictatorship that ruled Greece, five friends on the cusp of adulthood dream of love and adventure. But instead of exploring the world beyond their tight-knit community, they soon discover that the road to maturity is fraught with preconceptions and lies.

Amid this tumultuous background, they encounter Ourania, a statuesque brunette living on the outskirts of the village. Drawn by her effortless allure, the inexperienced companions make a secret oath to raise enough money to visit her and unravel love's mystery. However, with the world abuzz with anticipation of the upcoming lunar landing on July 20, 1969, the kids are at a crossroads. And the question remains. Should they use their hard-earned money to buy an expensive black-and-white television to witness the historic moment, or should they stick to their promise and visit Ourania? Caught between conflicting desires, the friends soon begin to argue. But just when the boys' expectations seem to crumble to pieces, an unexpected deus ex machina enters the picture to save the day.
